KCU has grown to become one of the country’s leading institutions of osteopathic medical education. But as the medical profession continues to change, training the next generation of osteopathic physicians requires a combination of traditional and new approaches.

We will meet tomorrow’s demands by providing exceptional learning experiences, instilling our mission of improving the well-being of the communities we serve within each graduate, and by remaining a vital player in addressing physician shortages throughout the region. However, our future success largely depends on our ability to garner ongoing fundraising support. The campaign goal is $16 million.

KCU has reached its capital needs goal but is continuing efforts to raise the $8.5 million needed to reach its other campaign priorities: $4 million towards medical student scholarships and faculty support, $2.5 million for medical research, and $2 million for community outreach programs treating local children in poverty and global health.
